Off-Limits
There is an off-limits area to the right of the 16th hole, marked with green and white posts, which only affects play on this hole.
A ball which crosses a public road defined as off-limits and comes to rest beyond the road is off-limits even if it is resting on another part of the course (access road to the club affecting holes 7 and 16).
Obstructions
a) Moveable obstructions (rule 24-1)
- Stones in bunkers
b) Immoveable obstructions (no penalty drop. Rule 24-2)
- The course signposts like those which signal water features, areas under repair, distance to greens; except those which signal out of bounds.
- The out of bounds sign posts of holes 14, and the first part of hole 16 when you are playing a different hole.
- Paths with artificial surfaces (e.g. Gravel paths) The rest of the paths and tracks make up an integral part of the course.
- The artificial stone walls which do not define an area which is out of bounds.
Electric Cables
If a ball hits a pylon or any electric cable on the course, the player is obliged to disregard that shot and replay another ball from as near possible to where he played the previous shot. There is no penalty for this in compliance with rule 20-5.
Placement of Ball
A ball which lands on any area of the course or in the rough or at street level or less, can be moved or lifted without penalty and placed at a maximum distance of 15cm from where the ball originally stopped, but no nearer the hole. After the ball has been moved it's considered 'in play'. (consult period of application)
Drop Area for Hole 16
When a ball lands in a water feature and it is impossible to tell the exact point where it crossed, a player must resume play from the specified drop area with one penalty stroke, unless the player opts for a) to play the ball from where it landed within the obstacle b) follow rule 26-1 (to play the shot again from the nearest place possible to where it was taken, with one penalty stroke)
Drop zone for the 18th hole
18th hole: There is an optional, free drop zone for any balls which, while playing the 18th hole, come to rest anywhere where the fence blocks the line of play towards the green.

Measuring Devices
In the absence of any express prohibition of the use of distance measuring devices in the rules of evidence, is allowed in all competitions for a player to get distance information using a device that measures only distances. However, if a stipulated round, a player uses a distance measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions (eg. Earrings, wind speed, temperature, etc ...) he violated Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification without regard to whether any of these functions are actually used.
